Joan Veon is a business woman, journalist and expert on the United Nations. For the last 12 years she has covered 90 global meetings around the world, including: economic, enviromental, peacekeeping and trade meetings; the UN General Assembly; UN-mega conferences on abortion, housing, food and sustainable development; the birthing of the International Criminal Court; NATO, as well as, the Group of Eight, the World Economic Forum, the Club of Rome, and many others.
Joan has interviewed and queried presidents and prime ministers; key officials from the United Nations secretary-general to the presidents of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund and the managing Officers of major multi-national corporations and non-governmental organizations, such as, the Prince of Wales International Business Leaders Forum; and key movers and shakers, such as, Maurice Strong and Mikhail Gorbachev, as well as, key economists from around the world.
Joan was the first to explain and define "Sustainable Development" and "Public-Private Partnership" in her book, Prince Charles the Sustainable Prince. Her second book, the United Nations' Global Straitjacket, explains many details about the world governmental structure, that has been set in place. She writes a geopolitical and economic newsletter for subscription.
