Solicitors for two brothers suspected of being involved in a terrorist chemical plot in London say they have protested their innocence.
It was also claimed that Mohammed Abdul Kahar, who is 23, was unarmed and shot without warning during the raid involving around 250 officers on a house at Forest Gate.
He is in hospital under armed guard. His brother, Abul Koyair, is being held in a London police station.
Police have been searching the house since the raid on Friday.
Meanwhile, security officials in Britain say they were acting on credible information of a potential chemical attack.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission is investigating the shooting.
