I think it would be a good idea to have automatic notifications on all new posts and replies made.

Ppl will receive more emails from the site and will encourage them to come back more often.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention - I've been looking into it this afternoon.
However, unless I'm missing something, I don't believe it can be set as the default option - although this seems strange. I scoured the admin panel settings 3 or 4 times, but I still can't see any way of changing it; looks like it's an member-configurable option only. I have now posted a FAQ article about this, with directions on how this option can be set, both on a global & per-topic basis.

The only thing I could find was the option to subscribe people to every new topic as a default - which would be very intrusive, & not something I would want to consider.

I hope that the FAQ will help meantime, although I'll continue looking into this & will let you know if I have missed something doh.gif after all.

Hey,

Ognir I think that's too spammy and intrusive as Cypher pointed out. Wouldn't recommend that.

Cheers,

Robert
