Did you know that the Union is exempt from all customs duties, prohibitions and restrictions in imports and exports in respect of articles intended for official use?

Did you know that Euro MPs are exempted from any form of inquiry, detention or legal proceedings in respect of opinions expressed or votes cast by them in the course of their duties?

Did you know that during the European Parliamentary sessions members are exempted from any measure of detention and legal proceedings - unless a rascal actually gets caught red-handed while committing a crime?

Did you know that officials are immunized from prosecution EVEN AFTER they have left office?

Did you know that officials of the Union are exempted from national taxation on salaries, wages and emoluments paid by the Union?
