This is my first post, so I thought I'd make one about the upcoming elections. Decided who you'd vote for yet? I have, but guess which ones are on the Council of Foriegn Relations?

John Edwards - CFR (D)
Rudy Giuliani - CFR ®
Hillary Clinton - CFR (D)
John McCain -- CFR ®
Barack Obama -- CFR (D)
Mitt Romney -- CFR ®
Christopher Dodd -- CFR (D)
Fred Thompson -- CFR ®
Bill Richardson -- CFR (D)
Jim Gilmore -- CFR ®
Joseph Biden -- CFR (D)
Newt Gingrich -- CFR ®

No suprise there, huh? Seems we get the same thing every time elections come around. Got to be some one whom we can vote for. Has anyone considered Ron Paul? No $400 haircuts for him...

Ever notice how much this guy looks like Damien, from the Omen?

I plan on voting for Ron Paul, no CFR minions for me. Dennis K impressed me also, perhaps he would be a good president. I love the fact that Paul is all about the Constitution, that puts him on my page.

Several things that need to be done are:

1) Abolish the FED, and go back to a Gold Standard. Remember, only Congress has the power to coin money, and the FEd is not Congress, nor a part of the legal government either, they are a private company.

2) Abolish the Patriot Act. This thing takes away all of our rights, and in illegal too.

3) A national health care that is non profit based, and covers everyone that is an American.

4) Abolish NAFTA, and the WTO for good.

5) Deport anyone not here legally, period.

6) Stop exporting American jobs, we need them the stay HERE.

7) Put Americans back the work. Make the phrase "Made in America" mean something once again.

8) Put a stop to raiding the Social Security Fund, and make the government pay back every cent they took from it from their private bank accounts.

Ron Paul website: http://www.ronpaul2008.com/

Ron Paul is a strict constitutionalist. He never votes for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution. He has consistently voted to lower or abolish federal taxes, spending, and regulation. Congressman Paul was recently recognized, for the tenth year in a row, as a "Taxpayer's Friend" by the National Taxpayers Union.

Ron Paul is opposed to the United Nations. He has introduced legislation to withdraw the United States from the UN. Dr. Paul believes that the UN is rife with corruption. It serves as a forum for rampant anti-Americanism. Instead of being reformed, the UN needs to be renounced. Dr. Paul is against any kind of world government or new world order.

Let me reiterate something:

"Dr. Paul is against any kind of WORLD GOVERNMENT or NEW WORLD ORDER."
And so am I. Ron Paul is the man who can save this country, if only he can be elected.
Entropiate
To become president, Ron Paul needs first to become the Republican Party candidate.

In most states, you must be registered as a Republican in order to vote in the Republican Primary.

If you believe that Ron Paul is right for this country, then Ron needs your help.

Check the Republican registration deadlines for your state.

PS: I have to confess that I'm British so it's not strictly my place to comment, but I'd really like to see Paul save your constitution: for all our sakes.

Hello and welcome to you, Freeman. I really look forward to hearing more from you, and hope that you can put forward more reasons and evidence why Ron Paul is the only way forward.

Amen to that, Entropiate. I think Ron Paul is the hope for us *all* that something can put the breaks on this monster. I must admit that I don't think I entirely understand the US "democratic" process... the idea of pre-registering a vote for a party - just so I could vote for a particular candidate further down the line - seems awfully alien & wooly to me. Mind you, I have no more faith in UK politics, and I think that they all make up the rules as they go along.

So saying, if anyone has discerned method in their madness, I'd love to hear about it!
