Interesting when investors were supposed to learn that the UK government were going to up their Nuclear plant production , some time around October 10th I believe.

Ah, I didn't realise that. In that case I've changed my position on this story. At first I thought it was what it appears to be, but (as so often) it's not, is it? Overall I think it actually promotes the nuclear industry rather than damages it.

I find it incredible that Britain's emerging energy crisis is treated with the casual regard with which it seems to be by the general public in this country - and it's deliberate of course. Barring a huge reduction in population ( ) I think it's obvious that in the not too distant future the poorer members of our society are going to have very little affordable energy available to them - and yet you can be fairly certain that no-one is going to speak up until the TV goes off. And unfortunately, even in some of the poorest regions of the world one can still find a TV. Oh well, we'll get what we deserve I guess.
