All I'm saying, Brits, is you'd better wake up soon. Time is very short indeed.

In case no-one noticed, the leaders of the EU nations recently agreed upon the text of the new EU Constitution, er I mean, the new EU Treaty, which discusses a very constitutional-like set of arrangements but which isn't, in fact, a constitution at all, or so some say. You can read the misleading articles all over the BBC and the rest of the 'net. But as they say, the truth will out, and round about now certain people are beginning to discover that it really IS a constitution after all. doh.gif

Of course, I wouldn't say anything of the sort, for I'm all too aware of things like Court of Justice Case C-274/99 P. You know the one - that's the case that set the precedent for criticism of the EU to be deemed blasphemous. Don't believe me? Look it up for yourself.

David Noakes has been pointing it out for a while. He recently stood for the leadership of his party (UKIP) and came fourth. I don't know him, nor do I owe him anything but I find his view on the EU quite clear and in terms of my reading, accurate. Indeed, find myself agreeing with quite a lot (though not all) of what he says.

On the other hand his party UKIP, otherwise affectionately known as the "kippers", are saying this: nonono.gif

That is, the stinky fish aren't really saying much about anything of consequence. At a time like this you'd think that their news page would be overflowing with informative news about the "treaty" wouldn't you? But it isn't. They must be too busy filling out their expenses claims.

Sham party for a sham system? mad.gif

Brits need to wake up!

Oh, and don't think those new-fangled English Democrats are going to help you either. I know it all sounds OK, what with their Garry Bushell and all (cripes!), but scratch the surface you'll end up at their "unofficial" forum. Now there's a scary bunch of perps.
