Lord William Rees-Mogg has written a book entitled 'The Sovereign Individual' (How to survive and thrive during the collapse of the welfare state).

Rees-Mogg was the editor for The London Times, he is now financial advisor to some of the world's wealthiest investors. He is a director of J. Rothschild Investments, General Electric, PLC, and the M&G Group.

This book reads like an agenda blueprint for the global elite. These people are not shy about laying out their agenda, yet the mainstream media, that they own and control, denies the existence of any agenda. His book tells us why: "Peddlers of 'news' seldom are partisans of controversy in ways that would undermine their own profits...But they seldom report conclusions that would convince subscribers to cancel their subscriptions and head for the hills."

Has anyone else read this book?

Here are a couple more quotes:

"If you fail to transcend conventional thinking at a time when conventional thinking is losing touch with reality, then you will be more likely to fall prey to an epidemic of disorientation that lies ahead. Disorientation breeds mistakes that could threaten your business, your investments, and your way of life."

"The old order is being toppled by a megapolitical earthquake that will revolutionize institutions and alter the way thinking people see the world."

This tells us that they are creating a matrix, an alternative reality.

"We put violence at the center of our theory of megapolitics for good reason. The control of violence is the most important dilemma every society faces."

These people are well on their way to accomplishing their agenda.

I haven't read it but I'd like to. Sounds interesting so far. Please feel free to keep us updated as and when nuggets emerge.

If anyone's interested here's an hour long speech on foreign policy he gave to an audience of Conservatives in Bath in February this year. Audio quality is quite poor & file size is 15.7Mb. Too many points to list them all, but he addresses issues such as Bush, Blair and idealism, the decline of the US, the inevitable restructuring of the EU, "The City" (of London), Iraq, Afghanistan, Oil, "The City", Capitalism, Africa, China and India. Some areas are examined more clearly than others and there are questions at the end.

Overall, it's a bit dull and I found little to write home about, though at one point he does stress the importance of "creating a willingness" to consume less oil, which he links to the UN carbon tax, erm I mean, global warming.
