We're ushering in the 'Mark of the Beast', and unless we start to consider what we're doing and the implications of it, we may not see it for what it is. People that refer to the 'Mark of the Beast' as receiving a tattoo, bar code or an implanted microchip may actually accept the 'Mark of the Beast' because they won't perceive giving up their personal biometrics as receiving anything.

So, the Greek words "didomi autos charagma" which are translated as "receive a mark" in the KJV, actually mean; "to give or deliver up your own personal etching", i.e. through fingerprinting and/or scanning the retina.
In Vine's Expository the word 'didomi' is not listed under receive, but it is the first word listed under the heading give! Please note that Rev. 13:16, is the only place in Scriptures where 'didomi' is translated as receive, everywhere else it is translated as give.
When the Greek was translated into English, it wasn't known that people had an etching upon their hand or in their forehead, so the expedient translation was to adopt the rarely used, opposite sense of the word and it was deemed to mean 'receive'. Looking at the Greek today, we can see that we do have our own mark to give and it should be translated as it was originally meant.
Rev.13:16, is more properly translated from the Greek as: "And everyone is forced, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to deliver up their own personal etching that is upon their right hand or in their foreheads."
Please notice that up until now, involvement with any sort of identification has been entirely voluntary. For instance, we do not need to have a Social Insurance Number, Health Card, Drivers License, Outdoors Card etc. We could work for cash, pay cash for health services, not drive a car, not hunt or fish; we could choose. The Bio ID takes away voluntary involvement. Laws are being passed globally that will make it mandatory for everyone to accept registration to the Bio ID system. It is coming upon all people whose names aren't written in the Lamb's book of life, and people won't be able to buy or sell or obtain government services outside of that system.
Ironically, it's the second beast in Revelation 13: that forces this system on everyone. This second beast is referred to as the false prophet, the apostate Church (Babylon, the mother of prostitutes) but it also has political capability, represented by the "two horns". This beast also masquerades as a Christian, represented by "like a lamb", "…He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon." Rev.13:11.
Watch so-called Christian political leaders that support biometric identification and take special note of the laws that they pass. Christians will obey God rather than men.
