And how much will this cost us?

I will check this out and post a researched opinion.
Thanks for the links.

There isn't much out there on this company yet, however there is some good discussion on other forums relation to Steorn, will get back to this soon.

I saw a new video update on their website - not much concrete info, but it does sound tantalising!

Here is is:

They've started the challenge two years ago, and there's still nothing interesting from out there. It looks like they having the same sort of problems, that other researchers do. Big men of this world really don't like free energy. And it will take long time before something changed. Sad.

I think it's entirely possible that this "event" was ALWAYS intended to fail. Around the world there are dozens if not hundreds of people working on free or near-free energy production and having great success, such as this guy for example - and yet it's Steorn who managed to grab centre stage and ALL the publicity going, only to make fools of us all later on.

Raise 'em up, smash 'em down & everyone shuffles off home disillusioned. This is only to be expected for as long as we allow the world to be controlled by criminals and you're right, it's very sad.

The Rise and Fall of the Steorn Orbo Free Energy Machine

They said it couldn't be done. And it probably can't. A year after an Irish company called Steorn promised a perpetual energy source that required only magnetism, not fuel, the device called Orbo was set up for a 10-day public demonstration. Yesterday, at the Kinetica Museum in London, was to be the scheduled unveiling and although the lead scientist was not named Dr. Octavius or Dr. von Doom, something about the "time variant magneto-mechanical interaction" at the center of this process seemed ominous. Nevertheless, the public was invited to watch. Using Internet Explorer, you could even check out four different cameras in the Orbo's chamber. As you may have guessed, the demonstration did not go according to plan.
