The issue of huge volumes of trackback spam on the blogs is now pretty much rectified, & shouldn't cause any further problems in the future.

This has meant that some particularly badly-affected blog entries had to be switched back to draft until I manually removed the spam over the past couple of months. None of the actual blog entries have been altered or harmed in any way, only the spam has been cleaned up.

Although I've rectified almost all of the problems, there are just a couple of entries that I'm still working on, and hope to have this resolved fairly soon.

This problem was due to admin error (mine) at the back end of last year, hence I cleaned out the rogue entries myself. It's a laborious task manually deleting each trackback spam entry, & not something that blog owners should have to do.
