Ron Paul's official announcement was made on C-SPAN. He did a half hour show with them where he answered questions from callers. He had awesome responses to every question. It's a must-see video. Share it with your friends, because he looks like a really solid candidate here.

Ron Paul comes across as a very intelligent and honourable man. I can only hope he doesn't end up the same way as others before him who have thought about reforming the monetary system:
JFK, who issued silver certificates, and Abe Lincoln, who issued treasury notes (greenbacks), were the only men who actively tried to put a stop to it. Both were assassinated.
Garfield and McKinley talked about stopping them, and wound up the same way. I can only hope that Ron Paul enjoys a great deal more success than his predecessors!
