I just joined the forum and am now downloading the pdf you provided. I recently switched from pc to macbook and using Transmission. I'm also new to torrent file sharing so I don't know what share at least a 1:1 RATIO or help the swarm survive means.

Thanks for providing the link. I haven't download many torrents and am unsure how to allow sharing of certain flies on my macbook, anyone know of a good source for that information?
