Left Behind: Eternal Forces is a forthcoming real-time strategy game for Microsoft Windows by Left Behind Games wherein the player joins an armed paramilitary Christian organization known as the Tribulation Force who are fighting the forces of the Antichrist, known as the Global Community Peacekeepers, loosely modeled on the United Nations Peacekeepers. The game is based on the evangelical Christian Left Behind series.

I can certainly understand the outrage against this game, since the idea of "killing anyone who won't convert" is about as un-Christian as you can get.

This doctrine was the driving force behind the Reformation, a backlash against the Catholic Church's witch-hunts and burning of "heretics" who did not accept the word of the Pope, but instead wanted to read the Bible for themselves, in their own language.

This game doesn't seem any more violent than any other that I've played, in fact, it appears to me that criticism of it stems solely from the fact that it is being (mis) sold as "Christian" (which it clearly is not).

In any case, it should be abundantly clear that The Powers That Be intend to destroy all Abrahamic religions, which they perceive to be one of the largest threats against their drive for world domination.

One need look no further than the Islamaphobic backlash against the supposed 9/11 and 7/7 "perpetrators" to see the damage being done to Islam, or the growing anti-Zionist backlash against Jews (the majority of whom are not actually Zionists). It's inevitable that the Christians would be the next target, most expecially due to their resistance to taking the microchip, "the mark of the beast".

As a result, I would predict that anti-Christian hatred to be nurtured and will grow considerably in the coming months.
