The Abydos Mystery

What do you see? In my opinion many of these craft resemble modern day flying machines, such as a helicopter and a submarine.

The temple in Abydos is located on the west bank of the Nile, near a small town called El-Balyana, some 45 km north of Luxor. The temple was originally build by Seti I and finished by his son, Ramses II. It was was once a cult center of Osiris. Although the temple is 3,000 years old it is still in good condition.

The original inscription had been covered and a new one has been added. Some of the overlying panel had fallen away and revealed an older panel beneath it. This older panel contained embossed images of what appear to be ancient aircraft.

According to the Egyptologists, it just can't be. Their explanation is that it is either a hoax or just merely a coincidence that these hieroglyphs resemble a helicopter and other flying and underwater objects.

A lot of older text sources tell us how people in the past were flying in all sort of devices and going underwater in submarines.

Indian and Sumerian literature contains detailed descriptions of different devices. There are also traces of devices in epics of ancient cultures such like Greek, Australian, American Natives and European.

It is likely that the Egyptians had access to highly advanced technology.

Airplanes

This object was found in 1898 in a tomb at Saqquara, Egypt. It is dated having been created near 200 BCE. Airplanes were unknown at time of the discovery, the model was therefore thrown into a box marked "wooden bird model" and then stored in the basement of the Cairo museum.

The model was rediscovered by Dr. Khalil Messiha. The wooden scale model got the whole Egyptian government interested. A special committee of leading scientists was established to study the object. As a result of their findings, a special exhibit was set up in the center hall of the national museum in Cairo, with the little model as its centerpiece. It was even labeled as a model airplane.

Egyptologist, archeologists and historians tell us there were no such things as flying machines at the time.

The fact remains however that someone, more than 2,000 years ago, did devise a model of a flying device with such advanced features, requiring quite extensive knowledge of aerodynamics.

These plane models aren't just limited to Egypt. Figures like that have been found in other parts of the world, for example in both Central and South America.

Humans have seen strange objects in the sky for thousands of years. These objects have followed mankind throughout history. They can be found in our artwork, in the Bible, and mostly in Maha-bha-rata, which is the Indian Sanskrit of more than 80,000 double verses. It was created for the first time around 1,500 BC.

So who were the people from whom the Egyptians had drawn their pictures of ships and airplanes on their walls and have made their wooden scale model?
